PACIFIC OCEAN (Feb. 14, 2011) Fire Controlmen assigned to the Combat Systems department of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) guide an Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile into its launch tube during an ordnance-handling evolution. The NATO Sea Sparrow is a highly maneuverable, all-weather, beyond-visual-range, semi-active radar homing air-to-air missile used by the United States, NATO and other allied forces. The Ronald Reagan Strike Group is currently underway continuing training before deploying to the Western Pacific and Central Command areas of operation.
